Dressmaking Work

I never anticipated doing any Dressmaking this year, but this has been a year of surprises and change. It all began when I was approached by a friend to make a Maid of Honour dress and it went on from there into designing and making a christening dress, 1950's maternity frock, baby couture for baby portraiture, flower girl dress and most recently a highschool formal dress.

While I'm still busy working on garments for a wedding in Jan 2011 I won't be taking more clients on, I'm hoping to make one-off garments in the near future instead of Dress Making, as that wasn't my main priority, although it has been fun and challenging & I'm pleased I could expand my size range up to a 16, and in children's newborn 00000 and size 1. I hope you will see more of my work to come, a multi-faceted collection with a pinch of couture and more wearable designs for the free-spirited Aussie girl.
