Avant Garde Designers for Singers/Artists

Some more inspo, some very avant garde, but nevertheless exciting and creative costumes. I'd love to do something like this, just need to find a singer who's brave enough! Until then, enjoy these fabulous photos, some by Thierry Mugler, Bob Mackie and Gaga's stylist who has these incredible ideas.

I admire how she puts thought behind what she wears as it carries a political message, such as the meat dress at the VMA's for the "don't ask, don't tell" appeal regarding homosexuals in the armed forces and how sooner or later we will barely have the right to the meat on our bones.

 I love the use of colour in all of these photos, it really is like wearable art, it leaves me wondering about the pattern construction and the sparkle. Enjoy! Xx
