Just arrived home from Melbourne and I'm already missing the haute-adrenaline of the L'OREAL MELBOURNE FASHION FESTIVAL!
After winning tickets, flights and accomodation to attend the opening, through a competition by Chambord Liquor, I decided to take none other than my beautiful, strong and inspiring mother along with me on a whirlwind overnight trip to Melbourne to see the "fashion show to end all fashion shows" in Australia. And it was.
L'Oreal had set up a 'beauty station' before the show for guests to be pampered, then everyone was greeted inside with Chambord martinis and a sensational goody bag from Vogue with more treats inside. The show itself was intense and filled with International and Australian designers, presented by David Jones, Vogue and L'Oreal.

Collette Dinnigan romanticizes you with her lace and classique prints of another era when love meant something different to what it means today. And lastly, in a whole other league, Mary Katrantzou, who really makes you see fashion for what it is, aside from a billion-dollar industry, pure architecture for the body, a canvas which cannot be contained in just one silhouette.
